Hi everyone! It’s Winter Solstice, and to close out the year I proudly present my Hillsong United - Oceans Remix. This is perhaps the most beautiful track I have ever created and it manifested through pain, grief and depression around the same time last year. I was missing my Dad, who passed from Cancer late 2021, and this song kept popping into my feeds, calling to me, healing my wounded heart. It seems fitting to release it during the holiday season for two reasons…life is not always kind and tis the season to rejoice in joy and gratitude. For me, this song represents a light in the darkness guiding my path, hope, faith, and belief that this too shall pass and my pain shall fade in time. The divine spirit spoke to my soul, comforted my heart and embraced my despair. Despite ones spiritual beliefs, this song speaks to a greater audience, reaches beyond boarders, judgement and encourages the weary wanderer to keep fighting the good fight. Close your eyes and listen with open mind. Slow down and breathe deep. May this song touch your heart as it has millions around the world. This time Oceans can be heard in a new style, tempo and energy. And yes, you can dance to it now, too! Dance your prayers into reality and let them float into the ethers.
